Welcome to the MBC 411 Merit Badge Counselor Directory. This online resource is intended to support Scoutmasters, parents, and troops in identifying qualified Merit Badge Counselors registered with BSA for the Pinckney District-Palmetto Council. To get started, notify Scoutmaster and then call the Counselor. Get a signed merit badge application from your Scoutmaster--parents and your Scoutmaster should always know that a Scout is contacting a counselor and working on a merit badge. After the Scoutmaster approves, get in touch with the merit badge counselor and tell him or her that you want to earn the merit badge. The counselor may ask to meet and will explain what is expected to meet the requirements for the merit badge. Always Remember the Scout Buddy System. Scouts must have another person with them at each meeting with any merit badge counselor. This person can be another Scout, parents or guardian, a brother or sister, a relative, or a friend. * Counselors & Experienced Instructors> Please email webmaster@pinckneydistrict.org to be added to this directory for the merit badges you teach.
